Does exercise benefit the over 65s?
Our answer is YES. Exercising has the same health effects at an older age as it has for younger people. An additional benefit is that the effects show more quickly at an older age. After only 3 to 6 weeks of exercise there is a noticeable improvement in the ability to perform daily activities (e.g. getting up from a chair, putting on socks, etc.).
Our training is intended for elderly people who have never exercised before. We will give them personal coaching and introduce them to the equipment and exercises – and to each other.
When you start training with us, you don’t have to do everything all at once. We will first look at what will benefit you most or what you need most. The exercise programme can always be extended later if and when appropriate. The ultimate goal? A healthy lifestyle!
